You belong at Ancestry.The Content organization within Ancestry is seeking a Project Manager.

This role will be located in Lehi, Utah.Each year the Content team transforms hundreds of millions of historical records from a variety of sources into a digital format that allows our customers to make powerful discoveries about their past.

The Project Manager ensures each digitization project arrives to the customer in a successful and timely manner by partnering with internal production teams and external business partners.

This role will partner heavily with data science and technology teams to develop new methods of historical data transcription using machine learning.

What You Will Do:Organize project detail to gain initial approval, then oversee project from creation to completion.Interact with multiple teams within the company to align expectations and progress while maintaining quality assurance.Resolve technical issues by working with IT and development teams.Report regularly to management on progress towards goals and objectives.Manage hundreds of distinct digitization projects simultaneously, balancing competing priorities.Travel occasionally for face-to-face interactions and collaboration with archives and Ancestry team.Investigate historical records and help balance the needs of archive partners with internal requirements.Who You Are:Ambitious, self-motivated, and productive with little direction or oversight.Confident and comfortable delivering information to team members, management, vendors, archives, and customers.

Proven interpersonal skills, ability to motivate others, and think rationally amid conflicting opinions.Strong written and oral communication skills, including presentations.Strategic thinker and able to propose multiple viable solutions when questions or obstacles arise.

Demonstrated experience and success managing multiple projects at once.Highly organized, able to use new technology to track and manage hundreds of projects.Proficient using Microsoft Office with an emphasis in Microsoft Excel.Passion for family history and positive customer experience.
