Job Description

Cricut is looking to add an HR Project Coordinator to its growing team! Reporting to the Head of HR Strategy and Planning, the HR Project Coordinator will provide support for our strategic initiative programs and be responsible for the day-to-day operations, tasks and projects supporting the People Team. In this role, you will be highly focused on internal clients, helping us execute against the HR vision and strategy by supporting needs and deliverables for business, development, and data analytics. You will contribute to the overall management of the HR project portfolio as well as lead some HR projects on your own in a variety of areas including but not limited to global processes, HR systems, internal communications, total rewards, talent practices, employee experience, among others. You will need to be comfortable with handling highly confidential information and should be adept at prioritizing work and understanding the balancing act of managing multiple projects simultaneously. Responsibilities:

  • Partner closely with Head of HR Strategy and Planning to track and prioritize departmental project work in alignment with organizational goals
  • Develop project plans that encompass all project milestones, and adhere to deadlines for the overall success and closure of projects
  • Own and effectively manage multiple small to midsize, large-scale projects and tasks concurrently, including project design, scope, and solutions
  • Ensure project teams and stakeholders have adequate understanding of ownership, timelines, resource needs, risks, contentions, and dependencies
  • Drive cross-team collaboration in a structured and efficient way seeking to accelerate progress toward goals while removing barriers and roadblocks along the way
  • Track and report on project success criteria, metrics, and communicate regular updates to various constituents and stakeholders
  • Partner with SME and PM teams to determine rollout/launch strategy; manage execution of communications plan
  • Identify improvements to streamline and simplify the PMO processes to meet the evolving needs of the business
  • Lead by example through project management best practices and continuous improvement in alignment with overall company strategies
  • Support organizational process and change management through effective communication and aligning clear goals and objectives
  • Demonstrate teamwork, innovation, and excellence within daily work

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, Human Resources or related field, or equivalent
  • Minimum of 3+ years in program/project management role and/or management consulting.
  • Proven experience with project management software, such as Smartsheet, AirTable, or similar
  • Experience in a Human Resources related role, or experience managing people projects / HR initiatives a plus
  • Familiarity with business process design/improvement/management methodology and tools 
  • Proficiency with MS Office suite including PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Proven success working in a dynamic team environment balancing multiple priorities
  • Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and influencing skills
  • Strong organizational and data management skills
  • Must be a self-motivated team player able to work effectively with general guidance toward objectives
