Northrop Grumman Space Systems is seeking a GBSD Information Systems Project Manager. This position will be located in Roy, UT and will support the Ground Based Strategic Deterrent (GBSD) program. What You’ll Get To Do: This motivated individual will serve as a Agile Project Manager and will provide leadership and overall direction to the assigned project team while providing oversight and leadership for all project requirements. The selected candidate will serve as the customer liaison for project leadership and will manage all scheduling, change management, risk management, and cost management requirements for the assigned project. The selected candidate will also be responsible for any optimization, or other remediation work assigned by the program manager. Up to 10% travel may be required. Roles and Responsibilities Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to: • Manage and track status of projects, metrics, financial budgets, and EACs; manage schedules and prepare status reports; and ensure project remediation and ongoing compliance goals are met • Creation, review and finalization of the project Statement of Work • Assisting project management leadership team in assessing, documenting and tracking of all new program requirements • Preparation of project execution plans and identification of appropriate technical and business resources required • Participate proactively in developing and maintaining standards, tools and best practices • Support and enforce the Agile methodology and SAFe framework used by the project team • Fulfill the role of the Scrum Master, leading Agile teams in the delivery of business critical, enterprise projects to program production systems • Adopt a positive attitude about Agile processes, ensure tasks are flowing from one phase to the next, facilitate the basics of the process (i.e. transparency, project information is current, impediments are being eliminated) • Maintain an in-depth knowledge of customer’s lifecycles, standards, and supporting processes and practices • Develop customer relationships and cultivate customer intimacy As a full-time employee of Northrop Grumman Space Systems, you are eligible for our robust benefits package including: • Medical, Dental & Vision coverage • 401k • Educational Assistance • Life Insurance • Employee Assistance Programs & Work/Life Solutions • Paid Time Off • Health & Wellness Resources • Employee Discounts This position’s standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off. UTSpace You’ll Bring These Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in a STEM and 5 years’ experience • Experience in Software Development, Integration, or other IT related projects • US Citizenship with an Active Secret Clearance or higher (awarded within the past 5 years) These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have: • Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a Scrum Master on a Scrum team • Minimum of 1 year of experience teaching others how to become Agile • Scrum Master Certification: SAFe Scrum Master (SSM), Scrum Alliance Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Scrum.org Professional Scrum Master (PSM) • Scaled Agile Framework experience; working as a part of an Agile Development (Scrum) Team • SAFe Program Consultant (SPC) • Experience using tools that support agile development, and especially SAFe, such as Azure DevOps, JIRA and Confluence, and CA Rally • Experience with any of the following: scrum project management, agile software development, and software version control management • Experience with traditional project management skills: managing budget, scheduling, estimating, etc. • Agile development experience implementing systems • Experience with multiple Agile teams in different organization • Must have experience in communicating with various levels of leaderships. • Experience leading multiple project assignments • Problem solving with integrated team including but not exclusive to the program manager, functional managers, and customers Northrop Grumman is committed to hiring and retaining a diverse workforce.
