nn Position Summary nn nnThe Consumer Research Manager II oversees all user research within a dynamic marketing organization.

This work involves managing user testing and supporting conversion optimization and A/B testing, new product development and consumer insight.

It will partner with marketing and cross-functional partners to understand student and prospective student behaviors, attitudes, needs, and concerns.

This role is a pivotal role in the marketing and academic teams, cultivating Voice of Customer research and delivering high-value student insights within our fast-growing university.nn nn Essential Functions and Responsibilities: nn nnDesign user tests, determine appropriate methodologies, set testing priorities, and maintain testing roadmap.nn nnCollaborate with team members to plan, analyze, and report on user-centered research.nn nnCreate and execute user tests, analyze studies and provide recommended next steps.nn nnMaintain a sharable knowledge base of test results to increase department-wide understanding of students and prospects.nn nnSupport A/B testing and conversion testing work through research, active involvement in test hypothesis and execution as needed.nn nnUtilize web and campaign performance analysis to identify areas of opportunity for improving user experience and conversion rate.nn nn Knowledge, Skill and Abilities nn nnExperienced in testing methodology and running experiments on web testing platforms: Optimizely, VWO, Adobe Target, Maxymizer or Google Experiments.nn nnExperienced with digital acquisition methods, tools, and platforms.nn nn Minimum Qualifications nn nn3-5 years in digital marketing, with 2+ years in Human Factors work, UX research, CRO, or similar role.nn nn3-5 years in market research with experience in both qualitative and quantitative research methodologies.

Experience with a variety of user-centered research tools and methods.nn nn1-3 years experience with digital marketing and web analytics.nn nnExperience with web testing platforms: Usertesting.com, Optimizely, or Google Experiments.nn nnBachelor’s/Master’s degree in behavioral science or closely related discipline.

These fields may include but are not limited to Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology, Sociology, Interface Design, or Computer Science.nn
