Digital Fabricator/Laminator – 2nd Shift – 2pm to 10:30pm

This is a Full-time position in Provo, UT posted March 6, 2021.

POSITION SUMMARY: Reporting to the Fulfillment Team Lead, the digital fabricator assists with the completion of a variety of the operational tasks of the department.

Digital Fabricators need an understanding of the different media and ink types, how they interact with lamination, as well as all the properties and applications of all the substrate used.

They are responsible for the fabrication of jobs that are processed through the Digital Department, this includes but is not limited to application of both hot and cold lamination, cutting and trimming of digitally produced signage.

The Digital fabricator is also responsible for the cleaning, maintenance and the safe and proper use of the laminator and cutters.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES: Basic knowledge of computers and graphic arts applicationsSafe use of X-acto knives and proper use of the Orca Laminator are essentialUnderstanding how to complete print jobs according to specifications on the Production OrderMaking suggestions that may enhance cost, quality, efficiency and delivery of products from the departmentAdequately proof all files according to the established procedures ensuring quality outputLogging of all time and materials used in the completion of the various tasks associated with Digital printMaintenance and usage of cutter, laminators, printers according to established procedures and guidelinesEnsuring that deadlines on digital print production are metMaintaining the organization of Digital Department computer files according to established procedures and guidelines.

Weekends and overtime are mandatory when scheduled.

Then we flex out 1 to 10 days where we don’t work.

You will average full-time hours and actually should make more money as all overtime is paid out at time and 1/2.

This position has all the full-time benefits.

Must be able to pass a drug screen and background check.
