Not only will you help implement technical innovation in a hybrid cloud environment, you will also lead professional development for a team of experienced software engineers to maintain pace with industry innovation.

Responsibilities+ Guide team development efforts towards successful project delivery.+ Provide technical leadership to teammates through coaching and mentorship.+ Maintain high standards of software quality within the team by establishing good practices and habits.+ Identify and encourage areas for growth and improvement within the team.+ Collaborate with other software developers, business analysts and software architects to plan, design, develop, test and maintain web and desktop-based business applications built on technology platforms accepted by the organization.+ Assist in the collection and documentation of user’s requirements, development of user stories, estimates and work plans.+ Prepare reports and other documentation on the status, operation and maintenance of software.+ Participate in peer-reviews of solution designs and related code.+ Drive change to implement efficient and effective strategies as advised by management.+ Develop, refine and tune integrations between applications.+ Ensure all Engineers within the team understand and follow existing IT standards and best practices.+ Analyze and resolve technical and application problems.+ Assess opportunities for application and process improvement and prepare documentation of rationale to share with team members and other affected parties.+ Provide third-level support to business users.+ Research and evaluate a variety of software products.Qualifications+ Demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft .NET 3.5+ development using C#.+ In depth knowledge with core Microsoft .Net technologies including: WCF, WebAPI, Winforms, LINQ and Entity Framework.+ Demonstrated experiencewith web applications including Angular 2+, ASP .Net MVC, Bootstrap.+ Comprehensive understanding of object-oriented and service-oriented application development techniques and theories.+ Demonstrated experience designing and developing enterprise grade software.+ Demonstrated experience with Microsoft SQL Server and SSRS.+ Demonstrated experience with source control management systems and continuous integration/deployment environments.+ Demonstrated experience with automated testing.+ Demonstrated experience with agile development methodologies including Kanban and Scrum.+ Demonstrated experience with multi-threading and concurrency.+ Demonstrated experience with debugging, performance profiling and optimization.+ Demonstrated experience with Agile methodology.+ Demonstrated experience with database development including relational database design, SQL and ORM technologies.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:+ Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or closely related field and ten (10) years’ experience in the development and implementation of large scale, complex software solutions in an increasingly responsible capacity OR an equivalent combination of education and experience substituting one for the other on a year-for-year basis.+ Three years prior experience in a technical leadership position.+ Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills to communicate with both internal team members and external business stakeholders.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:+ Experience with user interface design and prototyping.+ Experience with Salesforce development.+ Experience with Microsoft Azure.WORKING CONDITIONS:+ Light to moderate physical activity.
