ShopCore is poised for growth.With internalized leasing, development, property management and asset management functions, ShopCore leases and manages 70 shopping centers covering approximately 20mm square-feet across 19 states.

To support our growth, we are looking for a Financial Analyst to join our Asset Management team.

This team is responsible for providing financial and strategic analysis support related to the management of the Companys portfolio of shopping centers.

Analysis projects may include: financial modeling, financial reporting and monitoring, reporting investment performance, and asset-level valuation/underwriting.

Responsibilities: What you will do:Develop and analyze reports that identify key operating metrics (i.e.: occupancy, leasing activity, rent, operating margins, estimates of asset value, etc.)Prepare and manage weekly, monthly and quarterly reportsAnalyze property level operating budgets and capital plans, re-forecasts and cash flow assumptionsPrepare and participate quarterly valuation processParticipate and assist in the preparation of annual property budgetsConduct various financial analyses on leasing deal approval, tenant credit review, investment opportunities, peer market performance and other ad hoc research as requestedStay abreast of industry trends, transactional activity and outside research perspectives relative to the real estate marketsAssist in the coordination of transaction management and financial due diligence related to the acquisition/disposition of propertiesMaintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications and establishing personal networksAssume additional responsibilities and perform special projects as needed or directed Qualifications: What you should have:Bachelors degree (B.A./B.S.) in Business Administration or a related discipline from an accredited college, university1-3 years of financial analyst experienceExperience within a real estate organization, private equity, investment advisor or REIT role strongly preferredSelf-motivation, self-direction and capability to work independentlyAdvanced abilities in Excel, Word, and Power PointAbility to work well under pressure with multiple competing deadlinesStrong understanding of financial analysis concepts, including, but not limited to, rates of return, cash flows, net present valueStrong written and oral communication skillsHigh degree of integrityExperience with Argus, retail properties, and/or property management software (i.e.
